Ours is nice house ours is!

Houses

Well I can't believe it but it's Tuesday again, where does the time go?
This week the theme has been chosen by our talented teamie Janet.
Janet would like you to include houses of one kind or another, so let's see how many variations of this theme you talented bloggers can come up with this week. It never ceases to amaze me just how imaginative everyone is and the different takes on the same subject.
Right then I decided to go with a bird house on a canvas.

The birdhouse and the doves are stamps by Flowersoft and they were a bargain buy that I was alerted to by Janet herself some months ago. I used water colours to colour them, added stickles to the dove's wings and used a Big & Juicy pad to colour the sky and grass.  Used some flowersoft for detail and added some flowers from my stash.

If you'd like some inspiration why not pop over to the TT  challenge blog and check out the DT creations, they are fabulous. It would be great if you decided to join us this week.
Thank you for stopping by today and I'd love it if you would leave a comment as they really brighten my day.
Enjoy your week.
Hugs, Pat xx

Quick hello.

Good morning one and all.  Afraid I haven't got any cards or projects to post today but thought I would just wish you all a good bank holiday.   I really do hope you have better weather where you are than we have here. It's been really dull all morning and now it's begun to rain.
We haven't planned to do anything so I think I will get stuck into some DT work after lunch as I really do need to get on with it.  I'm struggling to get motivated lately but once I get going I'm OK.  I've also got a couple of family cards to get done for next week so I'd better get my act together.  I bought a Christine Coleman project DVD in the week and am itching to start on that but I really must resist if I'm to get the DT work done.  So many projects, so little  time!
As you know I have a thing about ribbon and was thrilled to bits yesterday when I picked up some fabulous packs from Poundland. They had packs of 5 different ribbons 1 mt of each for, yes you got it a £ and so I got 5 packs of different colours.  In the week I spent my voucher from Donna's Den that I won on the Just Inspirational challenge blog and guess what I got, yes you got it more ribbon.
Better go as I wont get much done sitting here will I?
Oh nearly forgot, there's a new challenge blog started today Keep it Simple which you might want to check out.
Have a good BH,
Hugs, Pat xx

Inspired by a poem

Tuesday Taggers challenge
Inspired by a poem

This week at Tuesday Taggers we would like you to choose a poem to inspire your creation.  So come on then get those thinking caps on and see what you can come up with.  We don't really care what kind of poem it is, be it serious literature or a little ditty that takes your fancy (as long as it's  tasteful if you get my drift!)

I chose a poem called The Great Outdoors by Britni Hart to make this card for my Son in Law. He's just got himself some camping gear and is raring to get back to nature.

The papers are Basic Grey and the tent image and the sun are digi stamps by Pixie Dust Studio

Right then, what came first the poem or the card? I'll let you decide!

Please do pop over to the TT challenge blog to check out the fabulous creations the fantastic DT have come up with and please join us this week.  Just a thought, you may want to write your own little ditty which would make it doubly creative.

Thank you for stopping by today I really do appreciate it

Hugs,
Pat xx

Well what a wet and dull evening and this is supposed to be summer!  Looks like we'll have to find other ways to brighten our days.
Thought I would share another Crafters Companion SWALK stamp card and let you know that I have finally got around to putting a Swalk slide on my other blog .  I love these cute images and they are so easy to use. They are so cute that you don't have to add much to them to create a lovely card, and you have gorgeous papers and flowers on the accompanying CD. One of my favourite sets.

Just off to watch Master Chef.
Have a good evening (or day depending on where in the  world you are), and thanks for stopping by, it's great to have you as a visitor.

Messing about in boats

Its Tuesday and that means its time for our next Tuesday Taggers challenge.  This week the theme has been chosen by our very own Sally and she would like us to include water, sea and or boats in whatever form you would like. Plenty of scope there then I think you'll agree, so hopefully we will get a bumper selection of entries again this week.  We all really appreciate all the fantastic bloggers who join us for our challenge and what a fantastically talented lot you all are.  If you should need any inspiration pop please pop over to the TT challenge blog because my fellow teamies have come up with some sensational ideas.

Well here is my little number.

I decided to go with that real cutie Popcorn the bear and his friends available from Crafters Companion. The papers and the image are all from the CD so no stamping for me this week on this one. The sentiment is Craftwork Cards and the ribbon from my stash.

Well that's about it from me today and I'm hoping I will have a better day today than I did yesterday. Spent half of it at the hospital because when the carers were pushing John from the wet room to the bedroom they caught his toe and sliced the top of it. He didn't feel a thing as he has no feeling in his legs and feet due to the MS but boy was there plenty of blood on the brand new carpet!! Managed to get it out, oh and John's OK too LOL!
Have a good day,

Love, Pat xx

Sunshine!

Good morning one and all.  It's been a week since my last post as I've been struggling to get back into the crafting swing since my little holiday.  Anyway I think I'm getting there and have managed to get four cards done today.
Well it's Tuesday Taggers challenge time again and this week our mega talented Michelle has asked us to use Sunshine as the theme.  I had just the perfect stamp to use from the Crafter's Companion SWALK collection so here is my card, hope you like it.

I've coloured this oh so cute image with distress inks
The papers are by Wild Rose Studio, Spring Fling.
I've used an MS around the page punch.
The flower and lace are from my stash.

Hope you will pop over to the TT challenge blog  to check out my fellow teamies creations as they are fabulous and I'm sure you will be inspired to join us this week. Don't forget it doesn't have to be a card, whatever takes your fancy.

Have a good day,

Hugs, Pat xx

Back to reality

Hi there dear friends.  If you've been wondering where I've been for the last week or so, I've been on holiday in Felpham West Sussex and we had a wonderful time.  I really didn't want to come back but all good things have to come to an end.  The house we rented was right on the sea front with fabulous sea views, just wonderful to wake up to each morning.  We had some lovely days out and even managed to get to visit the brand new Glitterpot shop and get some lovely goodies.
Now I'm back to reality and all that goes with it. I decided that I should slow down a bit but I can't see it happening as I've got a list as long as my arm to get done this week.  I was involved in a car accident (no-one hurt) before we went away so I've got that to get sorted and I wont bore you with the rest.  So if I'm not around for a while you'll know why.
Tuesday Taggers challenge
Lots of lovely black.
Now onto the Tuesday Taggers challenge which has been chosen this week by our lovely Lyn and she wants us to use lots of lovely black.
Well here is my card.
I couldn't resist adding some colour to the mix.
The Gorjuss Girl is coloured with Copics.
The paper has a lovely silky finish and I coloured  the flowers with copics.
The ribbon is from my stash.

I do hope you'll pop over to the TT challenge blog to check out the DT creations which are fabulous and hopefully you'll be inspired to join us this week.
Bye for now,
Hugs, Pat xx
