At last

At last the sun has made an appearance here in the UK so I hope you have all been able to get out there and enjoy it.
On Saturday we had a ride out to Bridgmere Garden Centre near Nantwich which is about 45 minutes drive away from us. It is a fantastic place and definately worth the drive as they have a vast selection of plants and gardening stuff. As a bonus there is also a Lakeland and Hobbycraft so I was well away.
Yesterday was spent in the garden, yes you've got it planting the new plants I got from Bridgmere, and generally tidying up after having new fencing fitted on Thursday. It was lovely just getting out in the gorgeous sunshine.

Now on to the card I am going to share with you. It's the one I made for my Mom's 90th birthday last week.

As you can see there is a lot of die cutting going on here and they are all Spellbinders.

Well I'm taking it easy this afternoon as I am paying the price of my energetic few days with a nagging back ache. I'd like to say it was worth it but it just wouldn't be true, lol!

Thank you for stopping by,
Hugs

An overdue post

It's been a while but I'm back with a few cards that I made just for fun.

The first one was inspired by a window display I saw while out shopping the other day. I loved the pink, brown, beige and torquoise colour combo.

This next one I designed after making up some backing paper using distress inks and gold embossing. The stamp used is the Naked Tree by Clarity Stamp

The final card was also designed using some backing paper I made up using distress inks. For the flower and the mat layer I also used some pearl paper that I made up a while ago and had stashed away. The stamp is by  Crafty Individuals.

Just noticed I'm showing as being in Surbiton no wonder I've been missing!!

Hopefully I'll get back a bit sooner next time. In the mean time thank you for visiting, I really appreciate it.
