Just Magnolia challenge

Hi hope your having a good weekend so far and you're not getting too wet.

Well I've spent part of the afternoon crafting and creating my card for the Just Magnolia challenge. It's a great sketch this week so if you haven't checked it out I should pop over and take a look at the DT cards which are fabulous as always.

Well here is mine

Card base made from Crafters Companion embossed card

Papers by Craftwork cards and the brown panel embossed using swiss dots folder on the Cuttlebug.

The image is Tilda with lamb coloured with Whispers and matted onto gold mirri boards ,faux stitching around the edge.

The flowers are cut using the cuttlebug die and the sentiment and candy from Craftwork Cards.

Just Magnolia challenge 4

Good morning all. I was up early this morning so thought I would crack on with the Just Magnolia challenge. The challenge this week is to include some stitching, either authentic or faux, on your card. The design team have come up with some fantastic creations to inspire us.

I used a scalloped edge black base card and added gold dots.
DP is Basic Grey
Image of course is Tilda with lamb coloured using Whispers brush pens and Tombow blending pen. I shaded the edges using a distress pad and did some faux stitching around the edge.
The flowers are cut using my new die for the Cuttlebug.
The brads and ribbon and braid are from stash and the sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

Off to check out Wendy's sketch challenge now.
Catch you later. Do have a good day and thanks for visiting me.

Hugs, Pat xx

Just Magnolia Challenge - Pink & Green

This is my entry to the Just Magnolia
challenge which requires us to use Pink & Green and of cause a gorgeous magnolia stamp
The base card is a deep green. The paper is from Cratwork Cards as is the embossed frame, sentiment and flowers, they came in a pack. I've coloured the embossing with a green inkpad. The gorgeous Tilda with lamb has been watercoloured. I know her top and also the brad and gem look bit yellow but they are infact pale green just doesn't show up well on photo.

Cololur Create challenge Orange,Green,Brown

This is my entry this week for the Colour Create challenge. It's such a coincidence that I made this card a couple of days ago and it fits the bill, well just about.
I used some wrapping paper left over from my hubbies birthday present and the ribbon is from his birthday cake (waste not want not is my motto). The image is of course a penny black. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and the flower from stash.
I'd love to hear what you think of it
