Happy Birthday!

Today is my gorgeous daughters birthday and she shares it with my BIL.
Hope you both have a great day.
They should have received their cards now so I can share them with you.

This one is Justine's

The papers are Wild Rose studio and as I'm sure you can tell the image and sentiment are PB. I've used distress inks for the colouring and added diamond stickles to the flower butterflies and bee's wings.
I am entering this into the Sketch Saturday challenge.

This is my BIL's card.

The fabulous stag image is from Crafters Companion's Mens stamp collection. I just added a little bit of colour with copics.  The card is cordinations, the check paper basic grey and the centre panel was created using distress inks (I think dusty concord and peeled paint) and iridescent gold glimmer mist.

Thanks for stopping by today,
Hugs, Pat xx

Boo!

Tuesday Taggers
Halloween- Plenty of purple.

Well it's that time of the week again another challenge over at Tuesday Taggers.  I think this is going to be a popular one with the spooky Halloween theme and we'd like you to use plenty of purple too.
The challenge is sponsored this week by our good friends at The Craft Barn, so if you'd like to be included in the random draw you should add the Craft Barn logo to your post.

I decided on a tag this week and here it is.

I used dusty concord distress inks to create the backgound colour, and I promise it does look more purple than blue, then dropped on some water to make the splodges.  The images and sentiments are from a great set I picked up for £1.49 while on holiday. I glossy accentsed(?) them, added a scruffy bit of ribbon and it's done.

Do please check out the creations that the rest of the team have come up with, they are fantastic and I do hope you'll join in the fun this week.

Have a spooky time!

Tuesday Taggers- Nursery Rhymes and another sneak peek.

This week the theme for the Tuesday Taggers challenge is Nursery Rhymes and  has been chosen by our very talented teamie Georgina.  The challenge is sponsored this week by Ribbon Oasis and if you are like me and love your ribbon then please include a link to them  in your post to be in with a chance of being chosen at random.

I have chosen Little Miss Moffet for my card, and I have used a Flower Soft image and of course Flower Soft with some lovely black glitter on the spider.  Hope you like it. The rest of the DT have come up with some fantastic creations which I'm sure will inspire you so I hope you will pop over and join us this week.

Now I have another card to share with you that has been made using the SWALK 2 stamps and CD from Crafters Companion which launches on Friday 22nd.
Another one using the Engaged is a Wonderful Place to be stamp and papers from the CD. I coloured the image using Distress inks. This is a tri-fold card and I rounded off the corners on the front and used a small nestie shape for the fastener.

Don't forget the Blog Hop over at the Crafters Companion News, Views and Inspiration blog as there is a £50 voucher up for grabs.

I'm off to the Hospital this morning for a scan and have got to drink loads of water before I can have it done. Just hope there is a Loo nearby for when it's over!!

More sneak peeks tomorrow so do please pop back.

The image on this double easel card is Engaged is a wonderful place to be, so sweet isn't it?
The papers and the sentiment are from the CD.  Believe me the papers on this CD are fabulous!!

I'll be back with more peeks during the week so I do hope you'll be back to check them out.

If like me you've been searching for card for stamping and colouring with your alcohol pens, such as Copics and Promarkers, you will be able to find it on the Crafters Companion Website from Monday, it’s called Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, its 216gsm, is ultra ultra smooth, and perfect for seamless blending. Even better than that its only £3.99 per pack for 20 sheets, so if you love your alcohol markers you'll love this!

I'm off this afternoon to do a bit of house sitting to wait for the dishwasher repair man at my son's.
What would our children do without us?  Think I'll take the Andre Agassi book I borrowed from my daughter and spend a relaxing afternoon before the grandchildren turn up after school to stay over.
Have a good day and enjoy the Hop.

Hugs,
Pat xx

More than two legs and I'm excited!!!

The theme for this weeks Tuesday Taggers challenge has been chosen by our super talented DT buddie Michelle.  She would like us to use more than 2 legs on our creations.  Now I tried to  think out of the box for this but in the end decided I needed to get some Christmas cards done so went with this cute image from Daisy & Dandelion which I coloured with copics and glittered with diamond stickles.  The papers are from some of last years leftovers which I think are Papermania.
Without further ado here it is

The rest of the DT have come up with some pretty fantastic creations so please pay the TT challenge blog a visit to hopefully get inspired to join us this week.

Well I'm so excited as I'm off to London today to see Sir Cliff at the RAH. yippee!
I'm so looking forward to this as I've been a fan since he first appeared on TV 52 years ago. Oh dear I'm showing my age but I'll be like a young wipersnapper come tonight.
Hopefully I'll get some good pics which I might have to share with you when I get back! They wont be as good as the one in the paper yesterday though 'cause I don't think he'll take his top off tonight.
Oh and I must wish Sir Cliff happy 70th birthday for Thursday. (I'm sure he'll spot this when he's blog hopping before the show)

Well enough of my excitable wittering,
Have a good day and I'll see you when I get back.
Hugs,  Pat xx

Tuesday Taggers.

It's Tuesday again and time for the Tuesday Taggers challenge which this week has been set by our lovely Georgina.  She would like us to create a box with something you've made inside.

I decide to put a bracelet I made from a simple kit I bought at the NEC in my box.  It 's made by knitting jewellery wire and adding tiny beads as you go.
The box was made using large scalloped circle nestie labels for the top and base cut from card which I had coloured using a Big and Juicy pad (Mountain Meadow)  misted with water and sprayed with glimmer mist iridescent gold. The main box and lid were made on my Ultimate Pro (available from Crafters Companion).  The flowers were cut using  scalloped nesties, scrunched up and distressed with brushed corduroy DI.

Thank you so much for stopping by today I really do appreciate it and love to read your comments.
