Something from the 70's.

Please to say I've got my act together this week to complete my creation for the Try it on Tuesday Challenge.
This week the challenge is to create whatever you choose following the theme of Something from the 70's. It could be inspired by music, fashion, toys, well just about anything from the 70's really.
I decided to make a card using a Sarah Kay stamp as I used wrapping paper featuring her designs to create decoupaged decorative tiles back in the 70's.  Yes I really have been decoupaging for over 30 years and if Carol Easton visits (or anyone who knows her) here is the finished one he he!

I stamped the image using black Versamark and coloured  it  with Distress Inks then decoupage it. The papers are from my stash as is the card used to create the nestie shapes.  I cut the flowers layers on the Slice using printed vellum sprayed with glitter. The ribbon and bits and bobs are from my  stash.

I've decided to include this card in the Colour Create challenge - Aqua, Green, Purple and White.

    Wow Pat I think you have created Holly Hobby! Do you remember the rag doll collection from the 70's? my sis loved Holly Hobby because they had a doll called Heather too. Fab creation team mate thanks for sharing your fab work with us x janet

    Great card pat. The image reminds me of Holly Hobby(not sure if that was just a USA thing though). Love the colours and layering. Have a great day. Angela

    I love greens adn lilacs togehter Pat and SK images, so this one really pleases.

    So sorry I've not joined in lately, but challenges are still a no go area as the screen time to do all the links is still too much.
