It's Party Time!

Cake & Balloons

Hi, how's things? Well it's Tuesday again, where has the last week gone? We had fantastic entries for the Tag challenge last week, seems you all got inspired for that one and really came up with some inspirational entries.

Well this week we are back to creating anything you like as long as you follow the theme of Cake & Balloons which has been chosen by our fabulous and talented teamie Emma. It's Emma's birthday this week, have a great day hun, hence the choice. Emma is also sponsoring the challenge this week and is offering one lucky person a selection of Stampin' Up products and also the chance of being Guest Designer for a week.

Here is my little number. The paper is from Crafters Companion's Cute Companions CD by the inspirational Jayne Nestorenko. The image is another of Elizabeth's coloured with copics and with a touch of stickles for good measure. I layered it onto the petit oval nesties I got from NEC. The ribbon is from stash, the charm is from Hobby House and the sentiment is Craftword Cards.

Do please pop over to the TT blog to check out the DT fantastic creations and get some inspiration, if you need any that is. Looking forward to visiting and checking out your designs.

Thanks for visiting,

Hugs, Pat xx

Masquerade

Tuesday Taggers Challenge
Jesters /Masquerade Ball

Hi there, hope things are good for you today.
Can't believe it's Tuesday again , where do the days go? So it's time for another challenge over at Tuesday Taggers. This week the challenge has been set by the very talented teamie Avril and we want you to include a connection to Jesters / Masquerade Ball in your project. If you should need any inspiration the DT have come up with some fantastic examples again this week so please pop over and check them out. I'm sure you will decide to join us this week and I look forward to seeing your take on the challenge. Have fun.

As I hadn't got any suitable stamps for this challenge I decided to use another of Elizabeth O Dulemba's fabulous designs to create a mask. I coloured it using Twinkling H2Os and added glitter for the jewels. Only wish the shimmer and sparkle showed up on the photo. I'm sure this one will end up in Jessica's dance costume box.

That's it from me for the moment, see you soon,

Love, Pat xx

I'm so excited!

Hi there bloggers, hope your day is good.

Well I had a lovely suprise when I checked my email and blog comments, the very talented Elizabeth O Dulemba has asked if she can feature my St Patricks day card, using her Leprechaun image, on her Tuesday Colouring Page Alert (e-newsletter). Of course I didn't have to think twice to give her the go ahead.

Elizabeth is a very talented author and illustrator and as you probably know I use Elizabeth's fantastic images quite a lot. If you are ever stuck for an image you are sure to find one to fit the bill on her colouring pages.

Sorry no card to post today as I'm a bit bogged down doing a commission. Suppose I'd better go and stuck into it. Apologies also if I haven't visited for a while but I really will try and catch up soon.
Hope the rest of your day is good.
Hugs,
Pat xx

St Patrick's Day with Tuesday Taggers

Hi all, sorry I'm a little bit late, again! This week the theme for the Tuesday Taggers challenge is St. Patricks day chosen by our fabulous teamie Teri. As usual the choice of project is entirely up to you, whatever takes your fancy.

Here's the card I came up with.

The image is a freebie from Elizabeth O Dulemba coloured with copics. I think my shamrock is four leaf clover but hey it's good luck anyway.

Now then drum roll.................. and the winner of last weeks swirls and curls challenge and recipient of the absolutely fantastic prize from the very generous Jean & Malcolm of Crafty Individuals is No. 42 JanR. Well done Jan just know you are going to have a great time using this fabulous pack of goodies. We are all so envious and I don't know how I've managed to keep my little mits off it. Thank you all for entering into the fun and we look forward to seeing your creations again this week.

Bye for now

Tuesday Taggers - Burst of Colour

High there, where does the time go? Another weeks gone by so it's time for Tuesday Taggers challenge again. This week the theme is Bursts of colour influenced by fireworks. Mine actually has a firework feel but you don't have to, just anything that fits the bill of bursts of colour. Remember you can create anything you like not just cards, which should give your creativity plenty of scope.

Please check out all the DT members creations on the TT blog and more importantly please join in with the challenge. This week the Craft Barn are sponsoring us so you could win a £15 voucher to spend on their fantastic new look website. Why not check the site out by clicking the button on my sidebar.

I decided to make a tri-fold triangular card. The image, which I water coloured and highlighted with stickles, I downloaded from
Elizabeth O Dulemba's site. I created the word in Wordart and the curling ribbons are from some I had left over from present wrapping last Christmas.

Do hope you'll join us this week and I look forward to checking out your creations.

Todays Creation

Hi there, hope you have had a good day. We had the grandchildren for a few hours today and although the weather hasn't been too good we managed to keep ourselves amused indoors. Elliot played with his dinosaurs with Grandad while Jessica and I, yes you've got it, did some crafting.
We made this little card for a friend of their's who's starting school next week.

Sorry but the picture is a bit washed out, in reality the colours are lovely and bright. Anyway you can get the idea. The Dp are basic grey. The image has been downloaded from Elizabeth O Dulemba's coloured with copics. I let Jessica have a go with the Copics and she loved them, better keep them under lock & key I think. The sentiments are computer generated and the buttons, Jessica's idea, are from stash.

Well I'm off for a blog hop and I'll catch you later.

SIL Birthday card

Hi there hope you are all having a good day. First of all no-one has come up with who the other girl on the card is. The suggestions so far are, Bo Derrick, Sarah Miles and Mary Quant. I'll leave it another day and then put you out of your misery.

Right here is the card that I made for my SIL's birthday today. He reads loads of books so when I saw this bookworm image on Michelle's blog I thought it would be ideal for Stuart. It was downloaded from here Elizabeth O Dulemba. Thanks Michelle for the inspiration.

I coloured the image with copics and layered onto gold mirri. The rest is pretty self explanatory

Well please let me know what you think, I'd really appreciate it and I'll come and visit you.

Bye for now

Pat xx
