What a month

Well it's been a month since I was last here and what a month it has been.
A round of Doctor and Hospital visits and stays for hubby, plus various incidents to cause us a load of grief.
Hoping that things will get better very soon as there is only so much stress you can cope with.

On a brighter note I am going to share some projects I have managed to create.

This first card I made for a very dear friend's birthday later in the month. She doesn't blog so this isn't going to spoil the surprise.  I used Sweet Poppy stencil with texture paste and mica powder heated to create the bubble effect.

For this next one I created the background with Distress Inks and stencil. The main image is a Visible Image stamp which came free with Craft Stamper magazine.

For this one I used paper from my stash and the little image is Clarity and the circles Bee Crafty. Blue and brown is one of my favourite colour combos.

Hopefully things will have taken a turn for the better when I return.

  1. Sorry to read you have had a bad run of it Pat, life can be unremitting at times. But so pleased to see you were able to lose yourself in craft for a while and with such lovely results. The Sea Horse in particular is stunning, I've done the heat/bubble technique on a few but that image was really made for it.
