Try it on Tuesday challenge and another Sneak Peek

Try it on Tuesday challenge this week is remembering Robbie Burns and you can choose what you'd like to create. We would just like you to use a poem as your inspiration. This is the poem I decided to use.

A Face

If one could have that little head of hers
Painted upon a background of pure gold,
Such as the Tuscan's early art prefers!
No shade encroaching on the matchless mould
Of those two lips, which should be opening soft
In the pure profile; not as when she laughs,
For that spoils all: but rather as if aloft
Yon hyacinth, she loves so, leaned its staff's
Burden of honey-colored buds to kiss
And capture 'twixt the lips apart for this.
Then her little neck, three fingers might surround,
How it should waver on the pale gold ground
Up to the fruit-shaped, perfect chin it lifts!
I know, Correggio loves to mass, in rifts
Of heaven, his angel faces, orb on orb
Breaking its outline, burning shades absorb:
But these are only massed there, I should think,
Waiting to see some wonder momently
Grow out, stand full, fade slow against the sky
(That's the pale ground you'd see this sweet face by),
All heaven, meanwhile, condensed into one eye
Which fears to lose the wonder, should it wink.
Robert Browning
I decided to make an ATC although they are not usually my thing but hey that's what our challenge is all about trying new things or projects out of your comfort zone.

I used a stamp that came free with Craft Stamper magazine a while ago and coloured it with Copics. The papers are some bits  left over from some I made up. The one is tissue paint and glitter on the back of acetate and the other is just paint splodges.  The other bits and pieces are from my stash.

Please take a look on the TioT blog and I'm sure you'll feel inspired to join us.

Now time for another peek of the Appley Dapply's Nursery Rhymes
which are launching on Create and Craft on Friday

A diamond top card this time using the papers from the CD-ROM and the so cute stamped image coloured with copics. I used an MS round the page punch set for the diamond top and as a panel for the sentiment (also from the stamp plate) on the front.

If you haven't already, please pop over to the Crafters Companion News Views and Inspiration blog and join in the Blog Hop for a chance to win the most fantastic prize.

Thanks for stopping by today.
