what a lovely sunny day, really makes you feel good when the sun's out doesn't it?
I'm back today with another sneak peek of Sheena Douglass's fabulous stamps, they are absolutely gorgeous. I know how much Sheena's work is admired so I'm certain these gorgeous stamps are gonna fly when they are launched on Saturday at 8am and 10am on Create and Craft.
This card is made using a stamps from the Bah Humbug collection coloured very lightly using distress ink and stickles.. Used nestie labels and MS around the page punches.
Sheena has added another video tutorial to her blog using the Wouldn' it be Loverly set of stamps so you might want to pay her a visit to get a look of what she is up to with these fabulous images.
Enjoy the rest of your day,

Very Exciting News
Launching Saturday on Create and Craft
at 8am and 10am
at 8am and 10am
Sheena's very own stamp collection
Well I know how many of you lovely crafters out there love Sheena's awesome work and will be so excited at the prospect of getting your little crafty mits on her fabulous artwork. The collection consists of two stamp plates under the name of Bah Humbug and two entitled Wouldn't it be Lovely.
I can't tell you how excited I was when I got the stamps in the post so that I could create some cards for the show.
Here's a little taster
This gorgeous lady is from the Wouldn't it be Lovely 2 stamp plate. I used some Papermania Regency Signature paper and coloured the lovely lady with distress inks. The sentiment is also from the stamp plate and cut out using a nestie label .
Why not visit Sheena's blog to get more information and to check out her fabulous tutorial using the Bah Humbug stamps, you'll love it.
Better go and get some ironing done now and I hate it!! I would have had it done by now but my daughter needed help down at Ikea. I get cold shudders down my spine just thinking about that place. All the struggling to find the bits and pieces, then struggling to get it in the car and then the best bit putting it all together. Been there, done that, but not any more, I really must be getting old!
I'll share another sneak peek with you tomorrow.
Enjoy the rest of your day.

Tuesday Taggers and the Craft Barn
Well hello everyone, sorry I haven't been about much this week. I've been a bit busy behind the scenes and with family commitments but now that's all out of the way I should be a better blogger!
I should be posting my creation for the Tuesday Taggers challenge but haven't managed to get anything done so I'm having a week off. However please do pop over to the challenge blog to check out the DT creations for the theme of "Here comes Autumn" which was chosen by our super talented Teri. I love this theme as Autumn is such a beautiful time of the year with all the gorgeous colours. The Craft Barn are sponsoring the challenge this week so there is a £15 voucher up for grabs for a lucky winner chosen at random if you link them on your blog post.
Well that's about it for me for today but please pop back tomorrow because I have an extra special sneak peek that you just wont want to miss. I'm so excited about it and can't wait to share it with you.
Bye for now.

Winter tales
Thought I'd just share another card made using the Beatrix potter Winter Tales Collection which will launch tonight at 9pm on Ideal World. I'd also like to remind you about the challenge over at Crafters Companion challenge blog as there are some fabulous prizes up for grabs and even some free downloadable papers from the collection.
No stamping on this one everything has been printed from the CD except the little flourish which was cut on the Slice.
Well I'm off to the hairdressers now to get all beautified, quite a challenge I can tell you. The best bit is the coffee and lovely biscuits and the worst is the bloomin' back wash basin which hurts my neck. Well no pain no gain as they say.
By for now,
Pat xx

Today for the Tuesday Taggers challenge Emma has said "Anything Goes" so plenty of scope there then. The DT have some fabulous creations on display over on the TT blog so please pop over to check them out and get some inspiration should you need it.
We have a fabulous sponsor for this weeks challenge Bea from Ribbon Oasis so to be in with a chance of winning this fantastic prize don't forget to put a link on your post . Wish I could enter as one of my many weaknesses is ribbon, I love it!
I decided on a little thank you card this week.
I think the paper is Wild Rose Studio if my memory serves me correct. The image is PB coloured with copics.
Here is another little thank you card. I made these for two of my friends who so kindly chauffeur me on our nights out. Thanks girls.

Another Beatrix Potter
Hi, hope you are having a good weekend.
I have had quite a busy morning and managed to get 9 cards made, mind you I had prepared some elements last night but even so it's a good tally for me as I'm not the fastest crafter.
Did you take a look at the Crafters Companion challenge blog for the Beatrix Potter Winter Tales challenge? Don't forget if you haven't got any of the BP range then you can get downloads using the link on the challenge blog.
This card is the one featured on the challenge blog.
I used one of the Crafters Companion embossing boards to create the cracker shaped card. I used papers and borders from the CD to decorate the card and the image is from the stamp plate and has been coloured with copics.
If you visit the CC challenge blog you'll find links to the DT blogs where you can check out more card ideas.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend.

Well more exciting news to share with you today.
Crafters Companion will be launching A Winter's Tale, the latest in the Beatrix Potter range next Tuesday.
The collection consists of a fabulous CD, stamp plate and card making kit.
To celebrate the launch we are having an additional challenge over at the Crafters Companion challenge blog and believe me it's well worth entering with some fabulous prizes up for grabs and some free downloads.
- The theme is Beatrix Potter so the card must be made using something from one of the BP CDs, stamps or the free download·
- You can enter as many times as you want – the more you enter, the more chances you have to win
- The closing date is Sunday 26th September
- If you don’t have any of the range you can use the free papers which you can download from here
- There are 6 prizes up for grabs in total: the top prize is the complete A Winter’s Tale card making kit, and there are 5 runner up prizes of the Winter’s Tale CD ROM. The winners will be picked at random.
Why not take a look at this month’s sketch too, that way you can make one card to cover both challenges, and have even more chances of winning!
If you pop over to the challenge blog you can check out the
DT creations using the collection and I'm sure you will
feel inspired and want to join in the fun.

Diamonds are Forever
Diamonds are forever
It's my turn to choose the challenge this week and as I have a love of all things sparkly I decided to go with the diamonds theme. However when it came to coming up with my creation it was the diamond shape that took centre stage.
The centre panel was created by scoring a square of plain white card on my MS scoring board at 1/2" intervals. I then rubbed distress inks ( Peeled Paint, Fired Brick and Mustard Seed ) across the card and around the edges. I stamped the Kaleidoscope Medallion stamp in the centre and coloured it using the same distress inks adding Glossy Accents to the centre flower. The background paper was created using distress ink and Glimmer Mist (iridescent gold). The flourishes were cut on the Slice. I had a few diamonds just lying around so thought I'd use them for effect!
Now I'm sure you'd love to see what the other DT members and our talented GDT Von have created so please pop over to the TT challenge blog to check them out. I'm sure you'll get some inspiration from their fantastic designs.
I'm looking forward to seeing your take on the challenge this week so please do join us.
Thanks for visiting,
Pat xx

Hope you all had a good weekend especially those of you who were lucky enough to go to Harrogate to be parted from your well earned dosh.
We've had the gardeners in today to get rid of some rather overgrown bushes. I've always managed to keep them under control until this year but having hurt my back earlier in the year they were left to go rampant. It made me stop and think about what the aging process had in store for me so decided I had better try and get the strenuous jobs under control. So the shrubs had to go. It's looking a little bare but I'm sure I'll find some low maintenance plants to fill the gaps. The mind is willing but the flesh is weak and it's so frustrating! Good thing is less gardening more crafting, yeh!
Here are a couple of cards using the fabulous Adorables and I'll put some on my other blog if you want to check them out.
The paper is from the CD and the cute images sentiment and trees are from the stamps collection
The paper and border are from the CD and the images and sentiment are from the stamp plates.
Before I go just a little reminder that this months challenge over at the Crafters Companion challenge blog can include any image not only those available from CC and there is a great prize up for grabs. Definitely well worth entering.
Thank you for stopping by,
Hugs, Pat xx

Rain rain go away!!
Good afternoon dear friends, what a bloomin' horrid day so dull and dismal, well it is here in the West Midlands, hopefully it's better where you are.
I'm going to share a couple of cards with you today. Firstly a card using Spider Henry which was a digi freeby from the very generous Katherina.
I coloured him with copics and gave him a web to swing from which is a digi I got from my good friend Teri at Delicious Doodles.
This next card is using Jayne Nestorenko's Adorables which are the Pick of the Week on Create and Craft. The collection is also available from Crafters Companion online store. Did you manage to catch the launch show at noon? This collection is really amazing but then you'd expect no less from Jayne would you?
The image is printed from the CD as are the DP which I printed directly to some of the fabulous Centura Snow White card. The template for this envelope card is also on the CD along with others for Plate cards and Hexagonal cards. There are also 3D frame card templates which are absolutely gorgeous.
Well that's me done for now. Hope you all have a good weekend, judging by this awful weather it will be a crafting one, but that can't be bad can it?

Another Sneak Peek and Tuesday Taggers.
Good morning
Well its Tuesday so you've guessed it, it's time for another challenge at Tuesday Taggers.
This week the theme of books has been chosen by our very own Michelle. I believe Michelle would like us to use a particular book of your choice as inspiration for your creation, whatever you decide to make, as usual that's up to you. Please pop over to the challenge blog to find out the finer details and to check out the fabulous creations that the DT have come up with this week.
Here's mine
I wasn't too sure what to do this week so thought my best option was to have a rummage through the rubber and the first stamp that I found that fitted the book theme would then be it. So here he is in all his glory the one and only Paddington Bear.
Nothing too complicated involved in this Tag/bookmark as I've had brain ache the last few days so couldn't do complicated.
Anyway I brushed the card with distress inks and stamped the images with versafine then coloured with the distress inks. Punched the edges and threaded cord through. Added a bit of ribbon and Bob's your uncle it's done.
Please do visit the TT blog and join us this week, we'd love to see your take on the theme, probably far more intellectual than mine!
Now another sneak peek of the absolutely stunning Adorables by Jayne Nestorenko which will be Pick of the Week starting Friday 10th September on Create and Craft.
The stamped image has been coloured with distress inks and the papers are from the CD. The Perfectly Pretty Petals flowers are also available from Crafters Companion and there are loads in the boxes and such a wonderful array of colours.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to pop over to the Crafters Companion blog to leave a comment and be in with a chance of winning one of 10 £30 goody bags.
Catch you later.

Sneak Peek
Good morning hope you all had a good weekend.
To start the week off with something brand spanking new I have a sneak peek of the totally awesome Christmas collection designed by Jayne Nestorenko for Crafter's Companion the Adorables and there just couldn't be a better name for these gorgeous characters. The collection consists of 6 stamp plates and an accompanying CD.
and will be launched as Pick of the Week on Create and Craft on Friday 10th September.
So here is one of the cards I created for the show.
The base card has a design from the CD printed onto Snow White Pearl card stock (available from CC) and cut and folded to create a shadow box. I sized it to go through the Cuttlebug so that I could cut the aperture. The cute images are from one of the stamp plates coloured with Distress inks.
Well if you would like to see more why not pop over to the Crafters Companion News Views and Inspiration blog and leave us some comments and you might become the lucky winner of a fantastic prize up for grabs.
I'll be showing more peeks during the week so please stop by and let me know what you think of Jayne's fantastic collection.
Have a good day,

Hornchurch via Gatwick!
While I had the flowersoft stamps out I decided to use them to make a birthday card for my sister in law who celebrates a big birthday on Saturday. I decided to send the card and gift by Special Delivery on Tuesday so that she would receive them yesterday before she went on holiday today. Well I should have just sent it by snail mail as it never arrived. Apparently it went to Gatwick yesterday and had to be redirected to Hornchurch today. Now I have to wait until they get back and collect the package from the delivery office before they will return the £5.20 postage charge. Oh well Babs will have a nice little pressie when she gets back, unless they lose it in the meantime.
Here is the card as it may be the last we see of it.
Unfortunately the background colours are not showing up on the photo so perhaps you can just image a light shading of blue (sky) and green (grass), difficult hey!
Well enough of my complaining. Think I'll get myself off to bed reasonably early and I'll be back tomorrow.
Oh before I go just a reminder that there is a fabulous £30 voucher up for grabs over at the Crafters Companion challenge blog so well worth entering I'm sure you'll agree.
