February?

Well don't know about you but I can't believe it is February. Well what happened to January then?

Fortunately here in the West Midlands of the UK we  haven't been affected too badly by the snow, just a few light dusting which soon disappeared, just how I like it.  Hope all of you that have seen plenty of the white stuff have been able to stay safe and warm.

Today I am going to share with you a mirror that I made last week.
It's a basic mirror from Ikea which I covered with some Basic Grey papers, little black dress I think it's called. I then added the mannequin and flower from Craftwork Cards Vogue collection which co-ordinates perfectly. The little basque is a stamp that came with Craft Stamper magazine. Hope you like it as much as I do. Just have to find somewhere to hang it now.

I have also been having a play with my Gelli Plate this week. I have made up loads of colourful mono prints to use on future projects but here are a couple of cards I made up using the two of the prints.
For this first one I masked off the centre panel before pulling the print of the acrylic paint in order to stamp the butterflies and greeting.

For this one I stenciled the numbers and letters onto the acrylic print and used stamped butterflies and central collage image.

Well that's it for today but I hope to be back soon with some more cards.
Bye for now
Pat xx

  1. What a feast for they eyes Pat, liking the earthy tones of the first but I think it's the third that really does it for me, love the hues of blue and gold all intermingled and stenciling.
