A pattern

Another week's gone by and I feel a pattern forming. My blogging seems to have become a weekly event but at least it's regular if not frequent.

A couple of cards to share today.

This first one was made for my dear friend Ann was 60years young last Sunday. She had a fun packed party to celebrate and we all had a great time. We even had a slide show of photos showing Ann from a young baby up to the present day and it was lovely to see her through all stages of her life. I have known Ann for about 22 years and I have only ever seen her with beautiful white hair so it was it seemed quite strange to see her lovely dark locks when she was younger.
Anyway here's the card.

As you can see I've used Jayne's lovely stamps again coloured with copics. The card was made using a Keepsake board. The pearls were made using Cosmic Shimmer glue which along with the stamps is available on Jayne's website.

This next card was commissioned by a lady after seeing the first card but she decided she would like the Indian Princess and she wanted butterflies too.

Again the stamped image was coloured with copics.  The sentiment was cut using one of the Persian Accents Spellbinder dies. After seeing Sue Wilson on C&C the other day I created a shadow with the die as she had done. I just cut the red piece in half and glued it behind to form the shadow. There is plenty of glitter on the jewels but of course they don't show on the photo.
I had never used any of the Keepsake boards before using them with Jayne's new stamps but I am a convert as they work so well with these beautiful stamps.

Well that's about it from me for today but I'll see you again next week unless of course I decide to break the pattern and pop back sooner.
Thank you for visiting,
Love,
Pat xx
