A pattern

Another week's gone by and I feel a pattern forming. My blogging seems to have become a weekly event but at least it's regular if not frequent.

A couple of cards to share today.

This first one was made for my dear friend Ann was 60years young last Sunday. She had a fun packed party to celebrate and we all had a great time. We even had a slide show of photos showing Ann from a young baby up to the present day and it was lovely to see her through all stages of her life. I have known Ann for about 22 years and I have only ever seen her with beautiful white hair so it was it seemed quite strange to see her lovely dark locks when she was younger.
Anyway here's the card.

As you can see I've used Jayne's lovely stamps again coloured with copics. The card was made using a Keepsake board. The pearls were made using Cosmic Shimmer glue which along with the stamps is available on Jayne's website.

This next card was commissioned by a lady after seeing the first card but she decided she would like the Indian Princess and she wanted butterflies too.

Again the stamped image was coloured with copics.  The sentiment was cut using one of the Persian Accents Spellbinder dies. After seeing Sue Wilson on C&C the other day I created a shadow with the die as she had done. I just cut the red piece in half and glued it behind to form the shadow. There is plenty of glitter on the jewels but of course they don't show on the photo.
I had never used any of the Keepsake boards before using them with Jayne's new stamps but I am a convert as they work so well with these beautiful stamps.

Well that's about it from me for today but I'll see you again next week unless of course I decide to break the pattern and pop back sooner.
Thank you for visiting,
Love,
Pat xx

Where does the time go?

Hi there dear friends
Sorry it's been a week since I last put something on this page and I just don't know where the time has gone. Well a lot of it was spent at the hospital as my mum was a bit poorly, nothing serious, but a bit distressing never the less. Glad to say she is home now and settled in.  While she was away we decided to give the house a bit of a spring clean so you know how stressful that can be doing the dreaded H********!!

Anyway I did manage to get some cards done. A couple more for Jayne's show and one for my SIL for his birthday created on Craft Artist.

Coloured with copics

Just before I go here is a photo of my son and daughter-in-law on their big day which was over two weeks ago now. So as I said ,where does the time go? They are back from their honeymoon in Cuba and back in the real world!!

As always thank you for stopping by today.

Venetian lady

I've got a card to share with you today and a reminder that Jayne Nestorenko will be back on our screens on Create and Craft at 11am on Friday.  I know so many people will be  happy to see Jayne back with her own range of stamps Grande Journeys.
This card has been made using the Venetian lady from Jayne's colllection.  I have made it using offcuts of card that were left over from some samples I designed for Jayne and which should be seen on the program.

She's been coloured with copics and I've added glitter to the jewels and the centre of the flowers. The border has been cut using a Spellbinder die.

Well that's it from me today but if you'd like to see more of Jayne's beautiful designs why not pop over to her website www.jaynenestorenko.co.uk

Thank you for stopping by today.
Hugs

Wedding Stationery

I know, what's happened? Posts two days running!!

Now that the wedding is over I can share the stationery with you.

The invitation, order of service and menu scroll and combined place setting. The colours are cadbury puple as in the ribbon not blue as showing on the order of service. The invitation is a tri-fold card with a pocket inside to hold a tag with all details of how to access the wedding website.

Thank you cards to be done now but I think my son will take care of that when they get back from honeymoon as he enjoys a bit of graphic design.

Looks like the weather is taking a turn for the better so we'll have to make the most of it. Enjoy.

Hugs

Back down to earth

Well things have been a bit hectic here for the last few weeks but we are now back down to earth after our son's wedding last Friday.  We had a most amazing day celebrating with our family and friends. I felt so proud.

Here is a card I made for my new DIL wishing her well for the day and telling her how happy we are to have her officially part of our family.

The image is a free stamp from the Docraft Creativity magazine and the border corner are a spellbinders die set. As usual the purple is looking blue.

This next card is the one I made for the happy couple.

The hearts were cut with a Spellbinder die and I used a Spellbinder Embossabilty for the white card. The sentiment is computer generated.

Now here's a photo of a very proud Mum and her son.

As always thank you for visiting me today
Hugs
