Michael Powell

Well I finally got around to doing some card making this week. I have been busy the last couple of weeks decorating and moving stuff about so the upstairs of our house is very disorganised at the moment. So it hasn't been too easy to get in my craft room. Anyway I managed to venture in this morning as I needed a card for my dear SIL. Well to be honest I've got a box full of cards that I could have dipped into but I do like to make one especially for the person.

I bought some Michael Powell stamps last week.  I've always loved his quirky designs and bought the original ones from The English Stamp company a few years ago. These new ones are from Docrafts and I love 'em. Here is the card I made with one of them.

I coloured the image with copics. The paper is from a Wild Rose Studio pack called Kalahari Dreams. The border is a Martha Stuart and the swirl and sentiment are cut with Spellbinder dies.
Hope you like it as much as I do. Please let me know what you think.

Enjoy what's left of the weekend.
Love
Pat xx

  7. Hi Pat,
lovely card!!! I just ordered some Michael Powell stamps myself, I just discovered him and I fell in love!!! I am looking desperately for the Venice Window eerie and can't find it....so I was wondering if you would be interested in an exchange on stamped images. I live in the States, but I am originally from Venice. I will be very generous hint hint :-)
