Switched off

Hi there blogging buddies, hope you're having a good day. Bit hectic here today. Work is still going on with the wet room and we have had the electricians in today. Made us realise just how much electric we use during the course of the day. Decided I'd get some crafting done and was in full swing when I realised I couldn't use the printer. The computer was charged so that was OK but no internet then the battery ran out. John has a community alarm which went into overdrive because there was no power and the lady kept coming on to check if everything was OK. Our daughter phoned but because there was no power to the phone the call came through on the community alarm. So her voice was coming through the box and goodness knows how that works. Confused? well if your not I am.

Anyway it's back on, well for the moment anyway. So here is the pic of the card that I had intended to post earlier. I have made this for my Son and his GF as they will be moving into their house tomorrow. It also fits the bill for the challenge over at Sir Stampalot. They have a fantastic blog hop going on with some absolutely fabulous prizes. Why not get yourselves to Brenda's blog to join in the fun.

The images on this card are digital stamps from Squigglefly which I coloured with copics. There were 5 houses in this download and I chose to use three of them this time around. While I was there I downloaded a couple more which you'll see in a couple of weeks time as I got them to make birthday cards for my son and his gf who both celebrate their birthdays on 24th. If you haven't checked out the Squigglefly site you really should as there are images to suit every occasion.

Well off now to do a bit of printing now the electric's back.
See you soon
Love, Pat xx

  1. Good Afternoon Pat

It is frightening how much we rely on electricity isnt it, but only realise when we lose it for a time, it's like the whole world stops.

Love yor row of houses, looks very rural with the trees, as if there is peace and quiet all round - ah, perhaps no electricity ?

Thank you so much for joining in our Stampalot challenge and good luck with the draws.
