Can't believe it is now July and we still haven't had a any summer except for the odd day here and there. Hopefully it is going to improve as the week goes on so fingers crossed. We will be having a few days away in a couple of weeks so hoping for some sunshine in Suffolk. We are going to stay with John's brother and his wife at the bungalow they moved to last year so really looking forward to it. That leads me nicely to share with you a card that will be winging it's way to Suffolk for BIL birthday next week. Don't worry he wont see it as he doesn't blog.
I stamped the clocks onto some basic grey paper to create the background. Stamped and clear embossed the car onto some craft card and cut out using a Spellbinders label. The border was cut using a docrafts die.
Now on Sunday I attended Jayne Nestorenko's workshop in Rugby and so I am going to share the two gorgeous cards we created using Jayne's new stamp set which will be available shortly on her website
The blue one is as we completed on the day but I completed the pink one at home by adding a ribbon flourish, gilt filigree flourish and some butterflies (part of the stamp set) coloured using a Sakura stardust pen to give a shimmery effect. We created the background paper too for this card by adding colour to plain paper using blending brushes and ink from DI or Adirondack pads then stamped onto it using some Inkylicious background stamps. I know I shall be using these stamps over and over again because the possibilities for creating fantastic designs are endless. The workshop was fantastic and it was great catching up with friends including fellow blogger Elaine (Craftetter).
Before I go just want to let you know that Jayne will be on C&C on Friday at 1pm with her Christmas stamps.
Thank you so much for visiting and I'm sorry I do not blog as often as I should.
Hugs
Pat xx
