Hello and thanks for stopping by.
I know we all love the aaahhh factor so I thought I would share some cards I made using the Meadow Cottage Bears that are available from Crafters Companion. You may have seen them on Create and Craft this morning when Sara was showing a selection of die cut decoupage sets. If you like decoupage but struggle with the cutting then these are ideal. I always used to love cutting out decoupage but these days with the old arthritis in the fingers I'm finding it more difficult. Poor old sole aren't I? LOL!
Anyway enough of my ailments and on to the cards.
Aren't they adorable? Well better go and get some "work" done. Have a good evening or day depending on what part of the world you are.
Bye for now,
Pat xx

Tuesday Taggers - Hang it all it's a canvas!
Good morning dear friends on this dull and dismal day. Hope this will cheer you up. It's Tuesday so time for the Tuesday Taggers challenge.
This week our talented Zoe has set the theme of canvas. You can use any sort of canvas e.g pads of canvas paper, canvas board, boxed canvasses they come in all sizes. Use a piece of canvas with other materials needs to be a reasonable size and not just a little scrap some where. Canvas is used to make sails, bags, chairs all sorts of things so the rest is up to you, can't wait to see what you talented crafters come up with.

We have a fantastic sponsor this week ART FROM THE HEART who are offering a full set of their new Altered Originals Sprays to one lucky winner drawn at random this week, all you have to do is leave a little link to Art from the heart in you entry post.
Now here is my canvas
This is much more shimmery than it appears on the photo and hence much prettier.
I misted the canvas with spray mica paint and iridescent pearl glimmer mist.
Then I took the mask that I used on last weeks challenge and laid it across the top and bottom corners then sprayed with blue mica.
I've certainly got the use out of this mask this week. I traced around four of the flowers then painted them with mica paint and cut them out. I added some bedazzles to the centres.
The ribbon, beads and wire made the finishing touch.
Thank you so much for stopping by and can I ask you to pop over to the TT challenge blog to check out the designs my fab teamies have created. I'm sure you will feel inspired and decide to join us this week. Thanks again.
Bye for now,
Pat xx

Tuesday Taggers - Anniversary
Well where has the sun gone? OK we do need the rain but I'm missing the lovely sunshine already, it makes you feel so good.
Well over at Tuesday Taggers our very talented Teri has chosen this weeks theme of Anniversary. I believe she chose this theme as she is celebrating her 21st anniversary this week, so congratulations dear friend. You've got a way to go to catch me!
So as always you can create whatever you like as long as the theme of Anniversaries features.
Right now, here is my card.
I decided to get messy with this one and got out my distress inks ( dusty concord and faded jeans ), Iridescent gold Glimmer Mist, Big & Juicy waterfall ink pad and a Crafter's Workshop 6 x 6 masking template, mini flower frenzy for the background. I used Perfect medium to stamp the flower that came with the latest August copy of Craft Stamper magazine and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer black glitter embossing powder. The sentiment is computer generated and printed onto snow white pearl paper. The ribbon and charm are from my stash.
Why not pop over to the TT challenge blog and check out the DT creations, they are fantastic and will give you plenty of inspiration. I do hope you will join us this week as I'd love to see what all you talented people create.
Thanks so much for visiting me today and if you'd like to leave me a comment that would be wonderful.
Bye for now,
Hugs, Pat xx

I won!
Hi there everyone hope you are not too hot.
Well last week saw the launch of the Just Inspirational challenges blog and I was the very lucky winner of the prize donated by Donna at Donna's Den.
Thank you very much girls.
Here is my card for this weeks challenge which is to use brown, cream and pink, a colour combo that I love.
The background card is dark brown which unfortunately doesn't show up too well due to me being a rubbish photographer. The image is by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD
Well I'm off to try and cool down now before I get stuck in to some more DT work, mind you it gets pretty warm in my craft room and if I have the window open too far everything gets blown about. Still not complaining it's lovely to have such nice weather.
Thanks for stopping by
back soon,

Tuesday Taggers - Make a Scene
Hi there dear friends, I hope all is well with you. Tuesday's here again and so it's time for another challenge from Tuesday Taggers. This week the theme has been chosen by our very own super talented Michelle. She would like you to make a scene and it can be any kind of scene, theatre or film connection or use your stamps to create a scene, whatever tickles your fancy. As always what you create is entirely up to you, card, atc, scrapbook page, altered art etc, etc.
Here is my scene
I've used the Crafter's Companion's Cute Companions Duo stamps designed by Jayne Nestorenko. I've coloured the images using copics and added some shading to the top and bottom using DI Peeled paint and Faded Jeans. I embossed some wavy lines down the side using CC's Ultimate Pro. The ribbon is from stash.
My fellow DT members have designed some stunning creations to inspire you so please do pop over and check them out and hopefully decide to join us this week.
Well thank you so much for stopping by again today, I really do appreciate it and thank you to all of you that leave me comments.

Yummy weekend.
Well I hope you've enjoyed your weekend. I had a lovely day yesterday with the Grandchildren. Elliot had grown some potatoes and we decided it was time to check out the crop. Although it wasn't a bumper crop they certainly were quality. We had some for lunch today and as Elliot would say they were yummy. Had a busy time with Jessica as she had a guitar lesson closely followed by ballet & national dance. Reminded me of when her Mum was young and I spent most of my waking hours ferrying her and her brother from one event to another. Oh happy days!
Now onto a bit of crafting. Last month saw the launch of the Crafters Companion monthly challenge blog and I have been chosen to be Guest Designer for 3 months from next month along with Ann and Lisa. There was also a fabulous prize which was won by the very lucky Colleen who has won the all new Souffle collection which launches on Ideal World at 9pm tomorrow along with the new Platinum Popcorn collection.
There is another fabulous sketch by Leann this month and Sara is offering another fabulous prize so why not pop over and take a look. The DT have made some fantastic creations to inspire us.
This is my creation, hope you like it.
I've stamped Olivia, flowers and sentiment from the Patchwork Polly Collection and water coloured them. The check paper is from the Cute Companions Cd. The spotty paper is from my bits drawer and the candy is Craftwork cards.
Please pop back tomorrow and I'll give you a sneak peek of Platinum Popcorn and cute Souffle. If you can't wait check out my other blog (link at top of page).
See you then,
Love, Pat xx

New Challenge
Good morning hope all is well with you. Today sees the start of a new challenge blog Just Inspirational Challenges and the theme is love. The DT have come up with some fabulous creations to inspire us. Good luck girls!
Here is my entry.
The main DP is embossed foiled paper and the layers are some Co-ordinates and some that I created myself by making a heart template using my slice to use as a stencil with a big & Juicy pad. The image is a Michael Powell stamp taken from one of his cross stitch designs which I also coloured using the Big & Juicy. The love sentiment was cut on my slice as is the heart in the corner.
Well better go and get some HW yuk! done but I may be back later.
Thanks for stopping by.
Love, Pat xx
