Hi there dear bloggers.
No creation from me for the Try it on Tuesday challenge this week as I have stepped down from the team. I have absolutely loved being part of the DT with such fantastic and talented designers but decided I need to spend less time blogging as I have family committments which I have to put first.
I shall still be crafting but as and when I have the time and I shall still keep following the TioT challenge to get some inspiration from the team as they come up with some brilliant ideas.
I believe that there are going to be some changes to the TioT challenge shortly so keep checking the blog to find out what's instore.
Well speaking of family commitments I had a bit of a scare this morning. As you may know hubby John has MS and this morning had quite a funny turn. I had to get the paramedics out but thankfully he is quite a bit better now. They checked him over and gradually he began to improve so we believe it may have been a TIA (mini stroke). He's had a couple of these episodes in the past and they last about 30 mins which I believe is what happens. We had a good year 2011 with no emergency hospital visits so hope todays episode doesn't mean 2012 is going to be the start of a bad one.
Well that's it from me for today. I'll try to get back with a card soon.
Hugs
Pat xx

That must have shaken you u this morning. Thank goodness he is ok. Tia's normally only last a few hours at the most - but it is worrying.

Thank you all so much for your kind words. John is much better now but not feeling the greatest. xx
ReplyDeleteI understand totally where you are coming from Pat and how difficult these decisions are when we enjoy our crafting.
ReplyDeleteBut family have to come first, regardless of which side of the fence you are on.
My Dad had several TIA's, they are scary at the time, but thankfully patients usually recover from the quite quickly.
I do hope 2012 is positive for you and your hubby and that we might see you now and then still.

Oooohhhh Pat, wish I could dash over there and give you a hug! We will miss you so much at TioT but that's a hard decision well made. When it boils down to it all we have is those we love. Do hope things are quieter and that you both find some special moments together.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you
