Use your Christmas Scraps
in a non Christmassy way.
in a non Christmassy way.
Hi there, well another week has gone by, where does the time go, since the last Tuesday Taggers challenge.
This week the very talented and creative DT member Blackdragon has set the challenge for us to use up our Christmas leftovers. I'm sure you must have some bits and pieces left lying around. What about all those gorgeous pieces of wrapping paper that you just couldn't bear to throw away and the gorgeous bows and tags that you've kept because you just know you'll need them one day. Even a Christmas stamp that you haven't got around to packing a way for next year 'cause you love it.
I'm sure you'll come up with even more ideas. Don't forget as usual you decide what you would like to create, card, tag, atc, whatever you like.
I decided to use the stamp that appeared on so many of my Christmas cards last year and I stamped it onto a brayered background adding some blossom with watercolour pens. This was layered onto some paper from a Christmas pad covering the Christmas trees that are on it. The ribbon is a Christmas leftover with a lace overlay.
So please pop over to the Taggers challenge blog to check out what the other DT have created and then I'm sure you'll feel inspired and will join in the challenge with us this week. We'd love to see your creations.
We are looking to recruit two new members to out DT, so if you are interested pop over to the TT challenge blog and send us an email telling us a bit about yourself and what you like to create.
Thanks for stopping by I do appreciate it.
Love Pat xx
