Hi all, well what a dismal day it is here and really blustery too, a day for staying home crafting that's for sure. We are having some work done on the house and there is dust everywhere, even in the bathroom upstairs and the jobs in the lounge downstairs. Looks like I'll be spending tomorrow cleaning aaarrhh!
Right back to the reason for this post. It's Tuesday so that means it's time for another challenge over at Tuesday Taggers. This week the challenge is to create something using a jar or bottle and there's a tutorial to help get your crafting juices flowing. The DT have come up with some great ideas so why not pop over and check them out. To tempt you the challenge this week is sponsord by the Craft Barn who have generously donated a £15 voucher, the winner will be chosen randomly.
Here's my little number.
Sorry the picture's not too good as the light is poor today and I'm working under difficult conditions with the workmen here. Anyway basically I took an old bath oil bottle that I had kept just incase I "needed" it and it's a nice shape. I filled it with some bath oil and added some dried stems to look pretty. I stamped this lovely fairy image (one I got for 50p from Gail of Circa Design) onto silver paper and embossed with ultra fine gold embossing powder. Sorry the picture doesn't show it too well but take my word for it it's pretty. Cut the paper to fit around the bottle and added some silver and gold curling ribbon and a bow from ribbon in my stash.
Well that's it from me for the moment, thanks for stopping by.
Love,
Pat xx
