Baby Boy

I have a couple of cards to share with you today that I made for the birth of my good friend Ann's grandson Zakk

The first one I made for the proud parents using the free Boofle stamp from a Creativity magazine (I seem to be using a lot of free stamps lately!) I stamped him onto some fawn shaded card and just added some shading with copics.

The second card I made for  Ann and her husband Philip, the proud Grandparents.
Guess what, the image is another freebie (WOJ download many moons ago now). I really do sound a cheapskate with all these freebies but I have bought loads of stamps honest.

Well that's it from me today I'm off to get some festive jobs done (hopefully)
Have a good day

I'm back!

Thought I had better stop by
and let you know that I have not abandoned my blog just been pushed for time lately.
Now that I can check my emails and social media on my phone I don't seem to fire up the laptop so often. Well once I get on the laptop one thing leads to another and I just haven't had the time.

Anyway I have managed to fit a bit of crafting in though I must say the Christmas cards are in short supply this year and I have even resorted to buying some just incase.

Here are a couple of cards that I've made while I've been away.

This first one I did for my BIL and used the Rialto Bridge stamp coloured with copics

The second one I made for daughter's birthday which is the same day as my BIL. The image is a freeby from the Creativity magazine and I coloured it with copics.

I'll try and get a bit sooner next time and I hope you'll pay me a visit.
Thank you for visiting.

Evergreen Tree

Hi their blogging friends. Pleased to say I am feeling much better  and thank you for your good wishes.

The card I am showing today is using one of the new Christmas collection by the lovely Jayne. This one is the Evergreen Tree  and is such a versatile and pretty stamp.

The background card was created using alcohol inks again this time on snow white pearl card.
I stamped  the tree and snowflakes with perfect medium and used Wow white high dimension embossing powder. The sentiment is also from the stamp plate but is a bit difficult to see on the photo as I used a delicate violet Wow embossing powder which does look lovely in real life. The front & back top section of the card are stuck together and the card opens on the fold along where the silver thread goes.
There are some lovely cards on display in the gallery on Jayne's website for inspiration but bare in mind you might sucombe to temptation. You have been warned!
Have a good week everyone.
Hugs
