Alter it!

It's time for another challenge with Try it on Tuesday and this week we'd like you to alter something. This week the challenge is sponsored by our good friends at the Craft Barn so if you do join the challenge don't forget to put a link to them in your post to be in with a chance of winning their £15 voucher.
I decided to alter a CD case.

and turn it into a post it note case.
I used the lacey circle nestie to cut the panels for the front, back and inside. The lovely glittery paper is DCWV Glitter stock
The centre flower is a stamp by Hero Arts and I coloured it with copics and glazed it with crystal laquer.
I made my own post its by cutting out circles of white paper using a nestie and then spraying a small top section with Stick & Spray.
The rest of the DT have excelled themselves so please pop over to the TioT challenge blog to check out the creations .
Thank you  for stopping by today and if you'd like to leave a comment that would be wonderful.
Have a good day

Hang it up.

For the Try it on Tuesday challenge this week we have been creating wall hangings. I decided to take inspiration from a lovely metal  plaque that I bought a couple of weeks ago.

I used a combination of digital crafting and stamping to create this piece. I used Craft Artist to print the centre panel and the wording. I then used my metal plaque as a template to cut out the shape.  I  used DI to colour the background and around the edges then used Crafty Individuals swirl stamps.
The rest of the DT have created some master pieces so please do go and check them out and then  hopefully  join us for the challenge this week.
Well that's about it from me for today as I have a lot of behind the scenes crafting to do.
Have a good day
